6 How Big mow BM2000 works
The robot works in a number of 'states'. Within these states it is programmed to operate in a
number of 'modes'.
Operational state (page 22): In this state the robot operates in cycles in which it works,
(cutting the grass), or is in the charging station either to charge the battery or for a rest period.
Inactive state (page 38): The robot can enter an inactive state if there is a condition that
causes the mowing mission (operational state) to be halted. The robot will return to the
operational state when the problem has been resolved and/or a specific command has been
issued to tell the robot to resume.
6.1 Operational state

In this state there are a number of modes:
Work
In this mode the robot mows the grass. For more details see Work mode (page 23).
Go to station
At a certain moment, which depends on the working schedule and the current conditions,
the robot will make the decision to move to the charging station. For more details see Go
to charging station mode (page 26).
Charge
In this mode, the robot connects to the charging station and charges the battery. For more
details see Charge mode (page 31).
Wait station
When the battery has been charged, the robot may remain at the charging station,
depending on the working schedule and the current conditions. For more details see Wait
in charging station mode (page 33).
