Met de teamfuncties en een wachtsysteem voor bellers kan u de

telefonische communicatie optimaliseren.

Gateways

U kunt met het communicatiesysteem Forum 5050 één of meer

gateways gebruiken. Als gateway worden communicatiesystemen

van het type Forum 550/560 toegepast die in een speciale modus

als gateway werken.

Met behulp van gateways kan het communicatiesysteem

Forum 5050 als totaaloplossing voor de integratie van TDM-telefo-

nie worden gebruikt. U kunt via gateways een groot aantal TDM-

toestellen aansluiten, zoals kabelsysteemtelefoons, analoge toe-

stellen en via U

aangesloten DECT-basisstations. U kunt via

gateways ook TDM-lijnen aansluiten, zoals externe ISDN-lijnen

of S

) en externe analoge lijnen.

De opbouw van een hoogstaand communicatiesysteem met

behulp van gateways wordt beschreven in een apart hoofdstuk

(zie Forum 5050 en gateways vanaf pagina 50).

Netwerkintegratie

Bij hogere eisen aan het systeem kan de Forum 5050 via internet-

verbindingen (“Q.SIG-IP”) samen met andere communicatiesyste-

men in een netwerk worden geïntegreerd. Daarbij maakt u van

locaties en filialen een enkel groot telefonienetwerk. Met tot vijf

virtuele lijnen wordt het aantal gesprekken dat er tegelijkertijd

mogelijk is tussen twee communicatiesysteemen enkel beperkt

door de bandbreedte van de internetverbinding begrenzt. Via de

Q.SIG-IP-netwerkintegratie kan de Forum 5050 bv. als subinstal-

laties of als DECT-server worden gebruikt.

Koppeling via vaste ISDN-lijnen (“Q.SIG”) is ook mogelijk. Voor-

waarde daarvoor is dat de nodige telefonie-interfacekaarten zijn

geïnstalleerd in de pc waarop het communicatiesysteem

Forum 5050 draait.
