Externe telefonieverbindingen
Met de basisversie van het communicatiesysteem Forum 5050 zijn
externe internettelefonie en telefonieverbindingen met het nor-
male telefoonnet (PSTN) via SIP-serviceproviders mogelijk.
Als de pc voorzien is van de desbetreffende interfacekaarten, kun-
nen er bovendien op interne aansluitingen analoge toestellen (a/b
intern) worden gebruikt.
Het gebruik van telefonie-interfacekaarten op het communicatie-
systeem Forum 5050 is verbonden aan een licentie. Meer informa-
tie over de ondersteunde kaarten vindt u in de handleiding
“Forum 5050: Installatie en configuratie van telefonie-interface-
kaarten”.
Verdere eigenschappen op telefonie gebied
Met het communicatiesysteem Forum 5050 kan u gebruik maken
van CTI-toepassingen (Computer Telephony Integration). Voor de
integratie van CTI-toepassingen worden de standaards TAPI
(Telephony Application Programming Interface) en CSTA (Servi-
ces for Computer Supported Telecommunications Applications)
ondersteund.
Bovendien heeft de Forum 5050 een geïntegreerde kieshulp, de
Forum CTI. Via de Forum CTI kunnen de gebruikers telefoniefunc-
ties op hun pc oproepen en gebruiken.
Met de webtoepassing Forum CTI Touch hebt u bovendien een
web-based oplossing voor het bedienen van telefoniefuncties door
middel van actuele smartphones.
Bovendien kunnen er aanvullende programmapakketten worden
vrijgegeven en gebruikt, die uitgebreide en comfortabele telefo-
niefuncties ter beschikking stellen. Dit zijn bijv. de digitale spraak-
opslag- en spraakinformatiesystemen Forum Voicemail en
Forum Auto Attendant.
U kunt het interne telefoonboek van het communicatiesysteem
Forum 5050 raadplegen via LDAP. Het is via LDAP ook mogelijk
om vermeldingen uit een externe directory te integreren. Boven-
dien is integratie in een netwerkbeheersoplossing via SNMP moge-
