BEKO UK AND ROI STANDARD MANUFACTURER GUARANTEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Your n ew Beko p roduct is guaranteed against faulty materials, defective co mpo nents o r manufacturing defects.
The standard guarantee starts from the date of original purchase of the product and lasts for a period of twelve (12)
months unless Beko plc (the “Manufacturer”) agrees to extend the guarantee for the product in writing.
If you have purchased an American style Fridge freezer, the standard guarantee starts from the date of original
purchase of the product, and lasts for a period of twenty four (24) months unless Beko plc (the “Manufacturer”)
agrees to extend the guarantee for the product in writing.
If yo u h ave any q uestion s about the guarantee on your pro duct (including how long it is valid), p lease con tact your retailer or

Th is guarantee does not in any way diminish or affect your statutory rights in connection with the product. This guarantee is in
add ition to your statutory rights as a co nsumer. If you have any questio ns about these rights, please co ntact the retailer from
which you purchased the product. In certain circumstances, it is possible that your statutory rights may offer additional or
hig her levels of protection than tho se offered und er the terms of this g uarantee.
What is covered by this guarantee?
•Repairs to the product required as a result of faulty materials, defective components or manufacturin g d efects.
•Fun ctional replacement parts to rep air a prod uct.
•The costs of a Beko plc Authorised Service Representative or Approved Engineer (together the “Service
Representatives”) to carry out the rep air.
What is not covered?
•Transit and delivery damage.
•Cabinet or ap pearance parts, includ ing but not limited to co ntrol knobs, flap s and han dles.
•Accesso ries an d/or consumable items in cluding but n ot limited to ice trays, scrapers, cutlery baskets, filters and ligh t
bulbs.
•Repairs n ecessary as a direct o r indirect result o f:
- Accid ental damage, misuse or abuse of a p ro duct.
- An attempted repair of a product by anyone other than a Service Representative.
- Installation or use of a product where such installation or use fails to meet the requirements co ntained in this
guarantee or the User Instructions Booklet.
•Repairs to a product operated at any time on commercial or non-residential household premises (un less we have
previously agreed to the installation en vironment).
Th is guarantee is limited to the cost of rep airing th e product. To th e extent permitted by law, the Manufacturer d oes n ot accept
and will not be held liable for any finan cial loss in curred in connection with th e failure of an y p roduct to operate in acco rdance
with the expected stand ards. Such fin ancial loss includes but is n ot limited to loss arising fro m:
•Time taken off work.
•Damaged food, clothing or other items.
•Meals taken at restaurants or from takeaways.
•General compensation for in convenience.
Important Notes
1. Your p ro duct is designed and built for domestic household use only.
2. Th e g uarantee will automatically be void if the product is in stalled or is used in commercial or n on-residential
do mestic ho usehold p remises, unless we h ave previously ag reed to the in stallation environment.
3. Th e p roduct must be correctly installed, located and operated in accordance with th e instruction s contained in the
User In structions Booklet provided with your product.
4. Professional installation by a qualified electrical do mesti c appliance in staller is recommen ded for all Wash ing
Machin es, Dishwashers and Electric Cookers (as incorrect in stallation may result in you h aving to p ay for th e cost o f
repairing the product).
5. Gas Co okers must be professionally installed by a Gas Safe (o r Gas Networks Ireland for Republic of Ireland)
registered g as installer.
6. This guarantee is given in respect of products purchased and used within the United Kingdom and the Republic of
Ireland.
7. Th is guarantee is effective from th e in itial date of purch ase of a new pro duct from an auth orised retailer and will be
void if the product is resold.
8. This guarantee does not apply to graded sales (where the product is purchased as a “second”).
9. Possession of a copy of these terms and conditions does not necessarily mean that a product has the benefit of this
guarantee. If you have an y questio ns, p lease call our Custo mer Service Team on th e number set out above.
10. Th e Manufacturer reserves th e right to termin ate the guarantee if its staff or representatives are subjected to physical
or verbal abuse in the co urse of carrying out their duties.
11. Optio nal extras, where available (i.e. exten dable feet) are sup plied on a chargeable basis only.
