OPERATION
A / Transmitter
• Switch on the unit with the power ON/OFF switch (1). The power indicator (3) will light up green.
• Place the baby unit at least one meter away from the crib with the camera (6) and microphone (4) facing
towards the baby.
• The baby unit can also be crib mounted using the supplied mounting fixture.
• The camera can be tilted vertically within an angle of 70° to better capture the
view of the baby.
• Adjust the microphone sensitivity knob 2 such that the microphone can be activated
at your desirable loudness level. Hi sensitivity means the microphone (8) will be
activated even by small sound.
• The transmit indicator (4) will light up red whenever audio signal is transmitted.
• The condition of the batteries is shown by power indicator (3). When the battery power is being consumed,
the indicator starts flashing. Replace with new batteries or connect to AC mains.
B / Receiver
• Switch on the parent unit using the volume control (14). The power indicator (19) should light up green.
• Be sure to keep at least 3m apart between the baby and parent unit or otherwise a screeching sound
will be heard at the speaker due feedback problem.
• Whenever signal is transmitted, the images captured by the camera should be shown on the screen,
while the sound picked up by microphone should be heard from speaker.
• The baby unit is equipped with automatic night vision function. Whenever the light sensor (5) detects a
low light intensity in baby’s room, it will automatically switch on the IR (Infrared) LEDs (7) as a source of
illumination. The camera captures the IR images of the baby and transmits to the parent unit which is
displayed as a black/white image on screen.
• Whenever an audio signal is received, the LED level meter (16) will light up. The louder the baby’s voice,
the more number of LED will light up. This feature is useful in case the parents prefer to turn down the
speaker volume to keep the environment quiet while still able to monitor the activity of baby.
• In case the screen shows the text “No signal or Out of Range”, move parent unit closer to baby unit, or
refer to pairing section.
• Adjust the volume control (14) to obtain a comfortable listening level 14.
• The condition of the battery is shown by power indicator (19). When the battery power is being consumed,
the indicator starts flashing. Connect to AC mains or PC through USB port.
SCREEN SETTINGS
You can make some screen settings through the display.
• Press Menu button (12): the main menu will be displayed on
the screen. Use up/down buttons (13) to select “display or
language”, then press the Menu button (12) to confirm. If you
select “Exit” you will leave the main menu.
DISPLAY MENU
Use Up/Down Buttons (13) to select « brightness », « zoom in »,
temperature » or « flip », then press Menu button (12) to confirm
your choice. If you select « return main » you will get back to
previous screen.
• Brightness
Use Up/Down Buttons (13) to select one of the 6 levels of screen
brightness. Press Menu button (12) to confirm your choice.
NB: It is not possible to adjust the brightness level when there
is no image displayed on screen.
• Zoom
Use Up/Down Buttons (13) to select between standard size image or 200% zoom. Press Menu button
(12) to confirm your choice.
