water heating will be disabled. The individual “P1” or “P2” programmes are of equal importance and may be congured
independently by the user for greater exibility.
When one of the programming functions (“P1” or “P2” or “P1andP2”) is enabled, the “set” knob is disabled. If it is moved,
“Pr” will appear on the display for 3 seconds. If you wish to adjust the parameters, you will have to press the “set” knob.
ECO PLUS: If one of the programming functions (“P1” or “P2” or “P1andP2”) is used in conjunction with the “ECO EVO”
function (see “ECO EVO function” paragraph), the temperature is set automatically by the appliance. It is therefore only
possible to set the desired time band for hot water availability. If the “set” knob is moved, “PLUS” will appear on the
display for 3 seconds, indicating the simultaneous operation of these two functions.
This operating mode maximises the amount of energy saved.
NB: for any setting, if the user takes no action for 5 seconds, the system saves the last setting.
The LED remains ON during heating.
ECO EVO Function
The "ECO EVO" function consists of self-learning software of the user consumption, which allows heat loss to be mini-
mised and energy savings to be maximised. This function is active by default.
The "ECO EVO" software consists of an initial learning period of a week when the product begins to operate at the tem-
peratureindicatedintheproductdatasheet(AttachmentA)andlogstheuserenergydemand.Fromthesecondweek
onwards the learning process continues so as to learn the user requirements in more detail and changes temperature
every hour to adapt it to the actual demand in order to improve energy savings. The "ECO EVO" software activates the
heating of the water within the time and amounts determined automatically by the product itself according to user con-
sumption. During the day, when no water is drawn, the product still guarantees a reserve of hot water.

Two operating modes are possible:
1)Manualadjustmentofthetemperature(seethe"Adjustingthetemperatureandactivatingthefunctionsofthedevice"
paragraph): the manual mode is accessed with the ECO button off. In this mode, the product continues to note the user's
energy demand without adjusting the temperature selected by the user. Press the "ECO" key for it to light up and the
"ECO EVO" function to start, which is immediately effective in this case as the "learning process" has already been
implemented;
2) ECO EVO:
- Aftertherstweekofcontinuouslearning,thewaterheateralwayspreparestheamountofhotwateraccordingtoa
statistical prediction of demand which is supplied in time: to do so, the temperature will be automatically determined
which will always be between a Tminimum=40°C and a maximum temperature that is set by the user (by default, the
maximumtemperatureisequaltothevalueshowninthedatasheet[AttachmentA])
- Press the ECO key for long for the eco LED to ash for about 4 s and the learning process restarts (from the rst
week). This is used to delete the user demand from the memory and restart (hard reset).
- Caution: when the ECO key is on and the "+/-" keys (Fig.6) or the knob (Fig.6) or the "ECO" key itself are pressed,
the Eco soft mode described above is accessed (the ECO key goes off)
In order to guarantee proper ECO EVO operation, it is recommended not to disconnect the product from the mains.
EXTRA POWER function
(For models featuring a user interface as represented in gures 4 and 6)
The product usually operates at its basic power level.
TheEXTRAPOWERfunctionactivatesadditionalpowertospeeduptherateatwhichwaterisheated.
To activate it, press the
illuminated button (Ref. B), which will light up in yellow. To deactivate it, press the same
button again; the light will switch off.
Anti-limescale Function
If much limescale is detected, the product switches to limited mode, which is actually "manual" mode with the heating
temperature set to 65°C and the ECO EVO function disabled.
Indication with LED interfaces (Fig. 3): the rst 3 heating LEDs ash simultaneously (Fig. 31;2;3).
Indication with interfaces with display (Fig. 5): on the display the screen alternates between “E70” and “Product
temperature" every 3 seconds, and the heating LEDs ash.
USEFUL INFORMATION
If the water comes out cold, have the following checked:
- the thermostat is powered
- the heating parts of the heating element.
If the water comes out boiling hot (steam in the taps)
Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply and have the following checked:
