Place the teapot back on the kele and start the boiling process again. If you
want to keep the tea warm, you can acvate the keep-warm funcon as desired.
The tea can now be diluted as required with hot water from the kele.
Note: Turkish tea should be le to brew for about 20 minutes to get a beer
taste.
5.3. "KEEP-WARM FUNCTION"
The "keep-warm" funcon allows you to maintain a specic temperature. You
can choose from the following temperatures using the buons: 70°C, 80°C or
90° C. Then press "keep warm" to start followed by the "Power" buon. The LED
starts ashing. Following this, the kele heats to the set value and maintains this
temperature for 30 minutes.
Cauon! The keep-warm funcon supports only the temperatures of 70°C, 80°C
and 90°C.
6. Descaling and cleaning
We recommend to descale the kele at regular intervals depending upon the in-
tensity of use. Before cleaning, pull out the power plug and wait unl the appliance
cools down completely. Please use only commercially available descaling agents
based on citric acid to descale the water container. For the appropriate dosage,
please refer to the specicaons on the package or insert of the descaling agent.
The heang plate should not be specically cleaned. Do not use any hard objects
on the heang plate. Use only a damp cloth for cleaning the kele externally. Do
not use any abrasive items like wire brush or steel sponge for cleaning. Never use
any cleaning agents which may corrode the surface or present a health risk if con-
sumed!
Never immerse the appliance, the power cable or the plug in water or in any other
liquid to prevent risk of electric shock.
