Then, place the kele (A) on the base staon (F). The buons for selecng dierent
water temperatures are located on the control panel of the base staon. Press the
desired "temperature" buon (70°C, 80°C, 90°C or 100°C) and press the "Power"
buon to start. The boiling process starts automacally aer about three seconds.
As soon as the water reaches the set temperature, the kele switches o and you
hear two beeps. The heang element switches o automacally and the boiling
process is stopped. The appliance can now be lied and the water can be used.
5.1. Usage with tea strainer lid (2)
The standard lid of the kele can be replace with the tea strainer lid (B). To open
the stainer, rotate it slightly in the counter-clockwise direcon. Pour your tea and
close the stainer again. Place the strainer lid (B) on the kele (A) unl it clicks
into place. The tea lter should only be dipped into the water when the desired
temperature is reached. Using the rod, you can determine the me and duraon
of brewing the tea.
CAUTION!
• Note the Max Tea mark for preparing the tea. Boil a maximum of 1.2 litres
of water. The tea strainer is dripping!
• Some types of tea may produce froth! Hence lower the strainer only aer
the set temperature is reached!
5.2 Usage for Turkish tea (3)
Pour water into the kele. Always note the minimum and maximum mark. Then
place the kele on the base staon.
Fill the tea lter (C) with about 1/3 with Turkish tea and put the tea lter (C) into
the teapot (D).
Place the teapot (D) along with the tea lter (C) on the kele. Ensure that the
kele is not covered by the lid. The boom of the kele replaces the lid in this
case. CAUTION! However, it does not protect against leakage etc.
Start the boiling process of the kele by selecng the desired water temperature,
and then press the "Power" buon on the base staon.
Fill the teapot (D) together with tea lter (C) with boiled water aer boiling. Then
ll the kele with fresh water.
