4. Inial use

Check that the product and the components are intact and that the device is work-

ing properly when using it for the rst me. Remove the kele, the base staon

and all the accessories out of the packaging and connect the base to a properly

installed and earthed 230V AC socket.

Wipe the surface of the kele using a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any

manufacturing residues, ll the water container once with cold water up to the

maximum mark before using it for the rst me. Boil the water by pressing the

"Power" buon on the base staon once. Discard the water aer the inial boiling.

Repeat this procedure two to three mes.

This appliance is intended for domesc use and other similar applicaons like: in

the sta kitchen in shops, oces and other business areas, in agricultural prop-

eres, by customers in hotels, motels and other residenal facilies as well as in

B&Bs.

Cauon! Please remember that the boiling process may be interrupted briey

below 100°C by intermediate measurements. Please wait unl the boiling is com-

pleted, which is conrmed by the beep. The heang element switches o auto-

macally and the boiling process is stopped. The appliance can now be lied and

the water can be used.

5. Usage with standard lid for water boiling funcon (1)

Press the Lid-opener. You can now remove the lid (E) using the opener. Fill the

kele (A) with cold water, place the lid (E) and press the opener down unl it clicks.

Note: A scale is provided on the outside. Do not ll the container above the maxi-

mum mark. The boiling water may spurt out if the kele is overlled.
