3. Pierce the underside of the eggs with the egg pick, so that the eggshells
don’t burst during cooking.
ATTENTION - The egg pick is very sharp.
4. Place the eggs into the egg tray with the hole pointing upwards.
5. Put the lid 1 on.
Cooking eggs
1. Insert the power plug 7 into a socket with protective contacts.
2. Press the on/off switch 8 to switch on the egg cooker.
The indicator lamp will illuminate.
After a period of time, a beep tone will sound.
The cooking process has ended and the eggs are ready.
3. Press the on/off switch to switch off the egg cooker and remove the power
plug from the socket.
4. Touch the lid on the handles and remove it such that you do not come into
contact with the hot water vapor.
5. Hold the egg tray 2 on the side handles under flowing, cold water, in
order to quench the eggs.
If you do not quench the eggs, they will continue to
harden. The shell will be difficult to peel off of the egg later
on.
If you cook eggs using the egg cooker several times in a
row, always let it cool off for a few minutes in between the
individual cooking processes.
Poaching eggs
Poached eggs are frequently referred to as “lost eggs”. Some
practice is required to make them.
Using both of the poaching dishes, you each poach
one egg in each (“lost eggs”). Lost eggs or poached
eggs are eggs that are cooked gently in barely
simmering water (176 °F) without their shell.
The inserts are not intended for making
scrambled eggs or omelet.
