options are: Time and date, Schedule power on/off, Language, Preferred Input Methods, Display,
Dedicated Key, Auto update of date and time and UART settings.
4.4 Network settings
Allow you to select the network, set your preferred network, or change the GPRS connection.
Network Selection: The Network Selection feature enables you to select automatically or manually the
network used when roaming outside of your home network.
Preferences: You can set your preferred networks from operator name.
4.5 Security settings
Under Security settings, we have the following options available:
SIM1/2 Security settings
SIM1/2 lock: press OK key to enable PIN lock, which will require you to input a password when
the mobile phone is switched on. Otherwise, the SIM card is unavailable. During setup, it
requires to enter the correct PIN code. If a wrong code is entered for three times, the PUK
(Personal Unlock code) will be required, PUK is used to unlock and change the locked PIN
code. If PUK code is not provided, please contact your local network service provider.
Note: If you enter an incorrect PIN1/PIN2 three times in succession, the SIM card is blocked. To unblock
it, you need to enter your PUK/PUK2. The codes a re supplied by your network operator. if you enter
incorrect PUK 10 times in succession, the SIM card is blocked and customer need to change SIM card .
Fixed dial: Outgoing calls from your phone can be restricted by making a fixed dialing list that
allows only numbers on that list to be dialed from the phone.
