Dimmer
Set the Dimmer control to Auto to decrease the illumination brightness of the unit with the head
lights of the vehicle ON. This mode is useful if you feel the unit’s backlighting is too bright at night.
1. Turn the Rotar y encoder to select either Manual or Auto (Initial setting), and press
/ENTER.
2. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to return to nor mal mode.
Dimmer Level
In the Dimmer Level setting, three levels are available, the highest level (Level 3) being the dimmest
when the car headlights are on.
1. Turn the Rotary encoder to select either Level 1 (Initial setting), Level 2 or Level 3, and press
/ENTER.
2. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to return to nor mal mode.
Tuner Setting
The following settings can be adjusted in Tuner Settings:
• Multi Cast Seek
• Seek Type
• Listen Mode
• Live Mode
• FM Tuner Setup
Access the settings using the following procedure:
1. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to activate the SETUP mode.
2. Turn the Rotary encoder to select Tuner Setting, and press
/ENTER.
3. Turn the Rotary encoder to select Setting the Multicast Seek, and press
/ENTER.
Multi Cast Seek
Multicast Seek can be set to ON/OFF.
1. Turn the Rotary encoder to select either OFF or ON (Initial setting), and press
/ENTER.
OFF:
SEEK is available only for the Main Program Service. Multicast stations are ignored.
ON:
SEEK finds both the Main Program Service and Sub-program Service of Multicast stations.
2. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to return to nor mal mode.
