iPod/USB Setting
The following settings can be adjusted in iPod/USB Settings:
• USB Skip
• iPod List Setup
Setting The USB Skip Function
During searching, you can skip over designated folders/files by pressing and holding Rewind
/ Forward for at least 2 seconds. For example, if you select 10F ile in the searching mode, by
pressing and holding Rewind
you can skip backward 10 folders/files from the cur rent
folder/file; by pressing and holding
Forward you can skip forward 10 folders/files from the
current folder/file. If the folders/files searched are less than the assigned skipped-over ones,
pressing and holding Rewind
/ Forward will skip to the first or last folder/file.Access the
settings using the following procedure:
1. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to activate the SETUP mode.
2. Turn the Rotary encoder to select iPod&USB, and press
/ENTER.
3. Turn the Rotary encoder to select USB Skip, and press
/ENTER.
4. Turn the Rotary encoder to select either 10File (Initial setting), 20File, 50File or 100File, and
press
/ENTER.
5. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to return to nor mal mode.
iPod/iPhone Search Mode Setting
The unit allows you to search for the iPod/iPhone using nine different search modes.
1. Turn the Rotary encoder to select either Playlists,Artists,Artists,Albums, Audiobooks, Podcasts,
Genres, Composers, Songs, or Genius Mixes, and press
/ENTER.
2. Turn the Rotary encoder to select either OFF or ON.
3. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to return to nor mal mode.
NOTE:
• When the search mode is in Playlists/Artists/Albums/Podcasts/Genres/ Songs/Genius Mixes,
the initial setting is On, and when the search mode is in Audiobooks/Composers, the initial
setting is Off.
• Refer to the Radio Supplement on the USB Card for further details.
