11.4 Setting maximum activation time for relays
The Andromeda IR-REC8 BED has a built in safety function where the relay has a
maximum activation time of 3 seconds. This time can be changed to 1.5 seconds. The
safety function allows the relay to operate only for the set time even if the button on
the transmitter is kept pressed for a longer time.
Do as follows to program maximum activation time:
1. Press programming button P.
2. Press programming button 4.
3. Press programming button 1 for 3 seconds
or
Press programming button 2 for 1.5 seconds
The indication lamp flashes three times.
4. Check the function by pressing a button on the IR transmitter and keep it
pressed to see that the desired maximum activation time is obtained.
12. Default setting
The Gewa Andromeda IR-REC8 BED comes preset with monostable functioning and
GewaLink channels 64-71 on relay 1-8.
13. Resetting to default setting
To restore the receiver to the default setting, press and hold programming button P for
5 seconds until the indicator lamp flashes, and then press programming button P again
within 2 seconds when the indicator lamp remains lit.
14. Resetting a single relay
To restore a selected relay to the default setting, press and hold the programming
button P for 5 seconds until the indicator lamp flashes. Then, press the programming
button for the relay to be reset within 2 seconds when the indicator lamp remains lit.
15. Cleaning
The receivers outer casing can be cleaned with a damp cloth dipped in water with a
little detergent.
