Avoid frostbite
Cycling in cool or cold temperatures can cause frostbite.
- Always be sure to wear appropriate clothing, including a face mask, in cool or cold tempera-
tures.
Avoid falls due to sudden engagement of the electric motor assistance
The sudden engagement of the electric motor assistance poses a risk of you losing control over the
bike and falling.
- Always test the electric motor assistance before your first ride.
- Always wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Avoid pollution
Material or fumes can escape from damaged bike components (e.g. batteries, electrical or electronic
components). This can result in environmental pollution.
- Dispose of used batteries and the electrical or electrical or electronic components of the bike
in accordance with the legal requirements.
- Observe also the instructions from the manufacturers of these products.
Avoid explosions
Pedelecs are not suitable for use in potentially explosive areas! Riding in potentially explosive areas is
generally forbidden.
Avoid material damage
Improper handling of the battery may result in material damage.
- Ensure that the battery does not become completely discharged (deep discharge).
- Store the battery only in a dry place with low humidity.
- Ensure that the stored battery is charged at least every six months.
