Appliance features
The Zelmer induction hob is an appliance used for cooking and heating foods. It works on
the principle of electromagnetic induction. A magnetic eld generated between the surface
of the hob plate and the pan placed on it produces heat which allows the food inside the
pan to be heated.
The induction hob can be used only with pots and pans that are suitable for induction
cooking. The magnetic eld generation depends on the type of material the pan base
is made of. Ferromagnetic pots and pans (with the base made of steel or iron) are only
suitable for induction cooking. In order to make sure that a given pan is suitable for
induction cooking you can use a magnet. If the magnet holds to the pan base, the pan can
be used for induction cooking.
Y ou are advised to use Zelmer pots and pans which are suitable for
induction hob use. A list of our products can be found at www .zelmer .pl.
By selecting a pan with these symbols on the pan bottom or on its
packaging you will be sure that it is suitable for induction hob use.
Induction advantages:
V ery short heating time. Once the pan is moved away the hob plate will stop heating.
●
After putting the pan back on the hob plate the heating will be automatically restored.
●
Quick reaction to changes in power settings.
Easy cleaning and maintenance of the hob plate.
●
The hob plate does not heat up, there is no re hazard.
●
