EAI SETTING
Enables / Disables the Emergency Automatic ID (EAI) feature.
Sets the Emergency Automatic ID (EAI) operating mode and its Trans-
mit Time.
Select the alarms utilized when the Emergency function is engaged.
DTMF SETTING
Enables / Disables the DTMF Autodial feature.
Selects the DTMF Autodialer Delay Time.
Programming of the DTMF Autodialer.
Selects the DTMF Autodialer Sending Speed.
SWITCH/KNOB SETTING
Set the duration that a secondary function of the

holding the

key) is held determines the function they activate.
Selects the function of the

key.
Enables / Disables the function of the VFO DIAL knob, while in the Home
Channel mode.
Select the DIAL knob function.
DISPLAY SETTING

Selects the time delay before the carrier is transmitted, when the PTT

BEEP SETTING
Enables / Disables the Band-edge beeper while selecting the frequency

Adjust the Beep volume level.
Enables / Disables the Keypad beeper.
Select the CW tone pitch for the CW Learn, CW training, and CW Iden-
tifier functions.
DISPLAY SETTING
Indicates the DC Supply Voltage.
Selects the Opening Message that appears when the radio is powered
on.
Indicates the current temperature inside the transceiver’s case and se-
lects the measurement units (“°F” or “°C”) for the temperature sensor.
MISCELLANEOUS SETTING
Select the antenna to be used in the AM Broadcast listening.
Selects the Channel Counter Search Width.
Shifting of the CPU clock frequency.
Select the antenna to be used in the FM Broadcast listening.
Enables / Disables the CW Learning feature.
Enables / Disables the CW Training feature.
Enables / Disables the receiver Front-end Attenuator.
Enables / Disables the extended Set Mode Menu.
Reduce the Deviation level by 50 %.
Illuminates the TX/BUSY indicator. It will glow continuously white (use-
ful as emergency flashlight at night).
Adjust the microphone gain level.
Set the On Timer Time.
Programs and activates the Password feature.
Selects the Receiving mode.
Selects the Smart Search Sweep mode.
Enables / Disables the FM Broadcast audio output to the internal speaker
when using the earphone antenna.
Enables / Disables the Busy Channel Lock-Out feature.
Adjusts the Squelch threshold to the S-meter level.
Setting the Dial frequency steps.
Enables / Disables stereo out put, while receiving the FM Broadcast
band.
Sets the time before Broadcast audio is resumed after the amateur band
signal drops, when the AF Priority function is activated.
Setting of the TOT time
Selects or disables the VFO band edge limiting for the current band.

Enables/Disables the NOAA Weather Alert Feature.
