Hulpprogramma's voor Windows installeren
In dit gedeelte worden de volgende onderwerpen behandeld:

De adresboek-bewerker installeren
Xerox
®
levert software om u te helpen bij het organiseren van het adresboek dat door de scanner
wordt gebruikt en de faxfuncties van de printer. Gebruik de adresboek-bewerker om de informatie in de
adresboeken bij te houden.
De hulpprogramma's installeren via de Software and Documentation disc (cd met software
en documentatie):
1. Steek de schijf in het relevante station op uw computer. Als het installatieprogramma niet
automatisch start, navigeert u naar het cd-romstation van uw computer, zoekt u de relevante map
met het scannerstuurprogramma en dubbelklikt u op het installatiebestand Setup.exe.
2. Klik op Hulpprogramma's installeren.
3. Klik op Volgende om het installatieprogramma te starten.
4. Accepteer de licentieovereenkomst en klik op Volgende.
5. Klik op Volgende om de locatie van de bestemming te accepteren.
6. Klik bij de volgende vraag op Voltooien.
7. Selecteer via uw computer de opties Start > Alle programma's > Xerox > WorkCentre 6505 >
Adresboek-bewerker.
8. Klik op Verbinden via netwerk om het adresboek over het netwerk te organiseren en klik dan
op OK.
9. Voer het IP-adres in het veld IP-adres van IP-adresinstellingen in.
10. Klik op OK.
De computer synchroniseert informatie met de printer en geeft dit in de adresboek-bewerker weer.
PrintingScout installeren
PrintingScout is een Windows-programma waarmee u de status van afdruktaken en verbruiksartikelen
van uw printer via uw computer kunt bijhouden. Wanneer u een afdruktaak verzendt, controleert dit
programma automatisch de printerstatus. Als de taak niet op de printer kan worden uitgevoerd,
wordt via PrintingScout een bericht op uw computer weergegeven, zodat u weet dat u actie
moet ondernemen.
PrintingScout installeren:
1. Steek de Software and Documentation disc (cd met software en documentatie) in het relevante
station op uw computer. Als het installatieprogramma niet automatisch start, navigeert u naar het
cd-romstation van uw computer en dubbelklikt u op het installatiebestand Setup.exe.
2. Klik in het installatiescherm op Install PrintingScout (PrintingScout installeren).
