5. All cooking zones can be operated with the
booster-function separately. When using the
booster- function, please deactivate a
running booster-function of the same group
(A/B); otherwise p and 9 will alternately
flash on the display of the selected cooking
zone and power level 9 is set automatically.
3.8 Key lock
You can lock the sensors to protect them from unintentional operation or
operation by children.
NOTICE! When the sensors have been locked, all sensors except
ON/OFF are deactivated. You can switch off the appliance with the
ON/OFF sensor in case of emergency, but you should unlock the
sensors afterwards.

Touch the key lock. The indicator displays "Lo".

1. Check that the appliance is switched on.
2. Touch and hold the key lock for some time..
3. Now you can proceed operation as normal.
3.9 Over-temperature protection
A thermistor monitors the temperatures inside the appliance. The appliance will
stop operating automatically if an over-temperature has been detected.
3.10 Detection of small objects
When a small-sized or unsuitable cookware (e.g. aluminium) or small objects like
knives, forks etc. are placed on a coking zone, the appliance will turn into stand-by
mode automatically after 1 minute. The fan will keep cooling down the appliance
