Setting the working depth
1 Make sure the motor is switched off and the cutting
blades are not moving.
The working depth must be set correctly before the unit is usedfor
the first time. When assembling the wheels, ensure that they are
assembled in the eorreet positionfor the working depth setting.
Working depth setting when using the unit for the first time is po-
sition 1 of the wheel assembly.
3 Information:
Wear on the blades will make it necessary to re-adjust the
depth of cut at a later date. An optimum working depth is ob-
tained when the blades of the cutter are inserted 2-3 mm
into the ground. If the working depth is too deep, this can
overload the scarifier and cause damage. Ensure that the
depth of cut setting is correct.
z Unscrew wheels and move to the appropriate height setting.
Screw on wheels tightly.
Attach grassbox
Lift protective flap, hook grassbox with the hooks provided into the
holes in the chassis (see arrow), reattach protective flap.
Do not dispose of electrical equipment in domestic
waste. Recycle equipment, accessories and pa-
ckaging in an environment-friendly manner.
