Error code Cause of error
Desired
values How to correct error
TR =
Temperature at flue gas
fan
too low. Measuring point:
fan.
Sensor Pt 1000
Picture / case 1
Do not light! First empty
pot. See explanation on
the right.
Temperature sensor at flue gas fan
still too low after 21 minutes. Often
there are still unburnt pellets in the
burner pot.
Case 1: False start; burner pot filled
with pellets, no flame. temperature TR
is not reached
burner pot/appliance not cleaned
false start
negative pressure in installation
room (causes flow reversal in the
ignition system) false start (often
associated with flue gas escaping
from the appliance)
ignition cartridge defective false
start
TR 49 °C
TR Values
are sampled
continuously
starting 21
minutes after
the stove
start signal.
After restart
the first
sampling
again takes
place after
21 minutes.
Always empty and clean
burner pot before making a
new start. Note: Never empty
burner pot into fuel hopper –
danger of fire through
embers! Search for other
causes. Ensure sufficient
supply of combustion air.
Negative pressure in the
installation room, whether
caused by exhauster hood,
house ventilation system or
pneumatic conveyor systems,
is hazardous and must be
avoided. Observe country-
specific regulations and
separate technical information
included in the delivery. Then
do manual reset via I/O key.
Picture / case 2
Do not light! First empty
pot. See explanation on
the right.
Case 2: cause:
shutdown in mid
-
operation, because of too few pellets
in the fuel hopper or hopper has run
empty (only few pellets in the burner
pot)
Remedy in case 2: replenish
pellets, empty and clean
burner pot. Reset and start
anew.
Case 3:
no pellets in burner pot Case 3: cause: appliance has shut
down because ambient temperature is
too low + calorific output setting is too
low. Temperature remains below
desired TR during operation.
Remedy in case 3: increase
thermal output. Reset via I/O
key.
TP =
Temperature at pellet
chute too high
Measuring point: pellet
chute
Measuring sensor: Pt 1000
External error!
Possible causes include negative
pressure due to ventilation system or
exhauster hood or far too little
chimney draught with power failure
(fan).
TP < 200 °C
(only 6 kW
Airplus
appliances)
TP < 170 °C
(all other
appliances)
This is no hardware error!
Let appliance cool off until
TP falls below desired value.
Search for and correct
external cause. Only then do
manual reset via I/O key. See
above for more information on
negative pressure.
ST =
Temperature cutoff (STB)
has triggered.
Measuring point in
Waterplus appliances:
capillary sensor parallel to
FKY (measuring point for
TW) in heat exchanger
(mounted)
Measuring point in Airplus
appliances: capillary
sensor on heat reflector
plate of fuel hopper
Measuring sensor: STB
according to DIN 3440:
The
STB is an obligatory, self-
supporting safety comp-
onent with a control box of
its own that works indep-
endently of system control.
External error!
Temperature of boiler
or appliance too high. STB has
triggered because temperature is too
high (safety function). The cause is
almost always external, not due to the
appliance, since STB only triggers
when heat generated by the appliance
is not transmitted.
Possible causes:
Waterplus models: not properly
bled or operation without water or
with wrong connection to domestic
water system ( no / insufficient heat
transmission!!). Check external
hydraulics and external controls.
Airplus models: overheating.
Check convection inlets and
outlets. Reduce thermal output if
room temperature too high.
T
STB
95 °C
With
Waterplus
models the
current value
can be
determined
approx-
imately by
sampling TW
at menu level
1. Sampling
is not
possible with
Airplus
appliances.
This is no hardware error!
Let appliance cool off until
STB falls below desired
value. Search for and correct
external cause.
Only then release STB + do
manual reset via I/O key.
