Important safety information
▪ Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they
are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance
safely and they understand the hazards involved.
▪ This appliance should not be used by children. The appliance and
the power cord should be stored and operated out of the reach of
children.
▪ Children must not play with the appliance.
▪ It must not be cleaned or maintained by children without
supervision.
▪ In the following situations, always switch off the appliance and
unplug it from the mains before proceeding:
⋅ In the event of a malfunction
⋅ If the blades jam
⋅ During assembly and disassembly
⋅ Before cleaning
⋅ When not being monitored
▪ If the appliance’s power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service or a similarly qualified person if
hazards are to be avoided.
▪ This appliance is designed for use in households and similar
environments, such as:
⋅ In staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other commercial
environments;
⋅ In farmhouses;
⋅ By guests at hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
⋅ At bed-and-breakfast establishments.
▪ Be careful of the sharp cutting blades during handling (danger of
injury!) as well as when filling/emptying the container or when
cleaning.
▪ After using the appliance, clean all surfaces/parts which have
come into contact with food. Please follow the instructions in the
“Cleaning and care” section.
