Bij banden met een speciaal profiel dat alleen
goed werkt wanneer de banden in een
bepaalde richting draaien, staat deze richting
aangegeven met een pijl op de zijkant van de
band.

De pijl geeft de draairichting van de band aan.
Zorg dat de banden altijd dezelfde draairich-
ting hebben. Banden mogen alleen van voor
naar achter verwisseld worden, nooit van
links naar rechts of omgekeerd. Als u de ban-
den verkeerd aanbrengt, nemen de remeigen-
schappen van de auto af en kunnen de ban-
den regen, sneeuw en drab minder goed
afvoeren. Monteer de banden met het diepste
profiel altijd op de achteras (om het gevaar
voor slippen te verminderen).
N.B.
Let erop dat u hetzelfde type, dezelfde
maat en ook hetzelfde merk voor beide
wielparen hebt.
Houd de aanbevolen bandenspanning aan
die in de bandenspanningstabel (p. 441)
staat.
