118 | Nachrichten austauschen und Outlook verwenden
7.1 E-Mail- und Textnachrichten
Messaging ist der Ort, an dem sich all Ihre E-Mail-Konten und
Textnachrichten-Konten befinden. Sie können Outlook-E-Mails und
Internet-E-Mails über einen ISP (Internet Service Provider) sowie
Textnachrichten senden und empfangen. Sie können auch bei der Arbeit
über eine VPN-Verbindung auf Ihre E-Mails zugreifen. Weitere Informationen
über E-Mail- und Textnachrichten finden Sie in der Hilfe des Geräts.
So richten Sie ein E-Mail-Konto ein
Sie müssen ein E-Mail-Konto einrichten, das von einem ISP zur
Verfügung gestellt wird, bzw. ein Konto, auf das Sie über eine
VPN-Server-Verbindung (normalerweise ein Konto bei der Arbeit)
zugreifen können, bevor Sie E-Mails senden und empfangen können.
1. Tippen Sie auf Start > Messaging.
2. Tippen Sie auf Menü > Extras > Neues Konto.
3. Geben Sie Ihre E-Mail-Adresse ein und tippen Sie erneut auf
Weiter. Die Autokonfiguration versucht, die notwendigen
E-Mail-Server-Einstellungen herunterzuladen, so dass Sie sie
nicht manuell eingeben brauchen.
4. Sobald die Autokonfiguration beendet ist, tippen Sie auf Weiter.
5. Geben Sie Ihren Namen (den Namen, der angezeigt werden soll, wenn
Sie E-Mails senden) und Ihr Kennwort ein. Tippen Sie dann auf Weiter.
Wählen Sie die Option Kennwort speichern, falls Sie Ihr Kennwort
speichern möchten, so dass Sie es nicht erneut eingeben brauchen.
Falls die Autokonfiguration erfolgreich war, sollten die Felder Ihr Name
und Benutzername automatisch ausgefüllt worden sein. Tippen Sie
auf Weiter und dann auf Fertig, um die Einrichtung Ihres Kontos zu
beenden. Oder tippen Sie auf Optionen, um auf zusätzliche Einstellungen
zuzugreifen. Beispiel:
• Ändern Sie die Zeitintervalle für die Herunterladung neuer Nachrichten.
• Beschränken Sie die Menge an Nachrichten, die heruntergeladen
werden, sowie die Authentifizierungsmethode für ausgehende Mails.
• Laden Sie Anmerkungen oder Teile von Nachrichten herunter.
Falls Autokonfiguration nicht erfolgreich war, oder Sie ein Konto besitzen,
für das Sie eine VPN-Serververbindung verwenden, kontaktieren Sie Ihren
ISP oder wenden Sie sich an Ihren Netzwerkadministrator, um folgende
Informationen zu erhalten, die Sie dann manuell eingeben müssen:
