Activating call services
Activating call services
When you start using One Net, you are assigned a set of call services. If a service isn't listed or is disabled on the
Call services page in One Net Service Portal, it means you don't have that service assigned to you. You should
speak to your administrator if you need any services that you don't have assigned.
To view your services
l Select Call services.
Changing the settings for your call services
You can activate and configure your services from the Call services page. For services with configurable
options, you must select Edit and enter the settings in a separate window before you can activate the service.
Your settings can include rules that govern when and how the service behaves in specific situations.
Save your changes
You must select Save on the Call services page to make sure all your changes are saved.
Using feature access codes
You can use feature access codes to activate or deactivate services. For some services, you can also use feature
access codes to check whether the service is currently active.
Read about feature access codes>
Rules for call services
When you edit the settings for your call services, some services give you the option to create and activate rules.
These rules automatically activate or deactivate a service when certain conditions are met.
The possible conditions vary between services, but a rule typically enables you to decide:
l The days and times when the rule applies
l Whether the rule activates or deactivates the service
l The types of phone number or the individual phone numbers that trigger the rule
When a rule applies
By default an active rule is in force 24 hours of each day. However, you can restrict when a rule applies by
linking it to a time schedule or holiday plan. For example, you might create a rule that forwards incoming calls
to a different phone extension every Thursday between 11am and 12 noon. You cannot directly add dates or
times to a rule. Instead you must link the rule to a named 'schedule' that records the dates and times.
