de carga inicial más elevado.
Se puede generar una alarma ad-hoc (esto es, dividiendo la tensión de la
cadena por dos y comparando las dos mitades).
Tenga en cuenta que la desviación del punto medio será pequeña
cuando la bancada de baterías esté en descanso, y aumentará:
a) al final de la fase de carga inicial durante la carga (la tensión de las
celdas bien cargadas aumentará rápidamente, mientras las celdas
retrasadas necesitarán más carga),
b) cuando se descarga la bancada de baterías hasta que la tensión de
las celdas más débiles empiece a disminuir rápidamente, y
c) a ritmos de carga y descarga elevados.
5.2.1 Cómo se calcula el % de desviación del punto medio
d (%) = 100*(Vt – Vb) / V
donde:
d es la desviación en %
Vt es la tensión de la cadena superior de la cadena
Vb es la tensión de la cadena inferior de la cadena
V es la tensión de la batería (V = Vt + Vb)
5.2.2 Establecer el nivel de alarma:
En el caso de baterías VRLA (gel o AGM), el gaseado debido a la
sobrecarga secará el electrolito, incrementando la resistencia interna y
resultando finalmente en daños irreversibles. Las baterías VRLA de placas
planas empiezan a perder agua cuando la tensión de carga se acerca a
los 15V (baterías de 12V).
Incluyendo un margen de seguridad, la desviación del punto medio
debería por lo tanto permanecer por debajo del 2 % durante la carga.
Cuando, por ejemplo, se carga una bancada de baterías de 24V con una
tensión de absorción de 28,8V, una desviación del punto medio del 2%
tendría como resultado:
Vt = V*d/100* + Vb = V*d/100 + V – Vt
Por lo tanto:
Vt = (V*(1+d/100) / 2 = 28,8*1,02 / 2 ≈ 14,7 V
Y
Vb = (V*(1-d/100) / 2 = 28,8*0,98 / 2 ≈ 14,1 V
