Das hinter dem Ohr verwendbare Gentle Touch-Thermometer von Vicks ermöglicht
genaue, sichere und schnelle Temperaturmessungen.
Jedoch muss das Temperaturmessverfahren korrekt durchgeführt werden, um genaue
Temperaturmesswerte zu erhalten. Lesen Sie daher diese Anleitung sorgfältig durch.
WARNUNGEN UND VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN
1. Das Thermometer darf erst nach 20 Minuten Hautkontakt haben, wenn es besonders niedrigen
oder hohen Temperaturen ausgesetzt war. (z.B. direktes Sonnenlicht, Nähe zu Kaminfeuer, kalter
Luftstrom aus Klimaanlagen oder sehr warmen Badezimmern).
2. Das Thermometer darf nicht auf vernarbte oder von Erkrankungen betroffene Haut platziert
werden.
3. Nicht bei Patienten anwenden, die verletzt sind oder mit bestimmten Medikamenten behandelt
werden.
4. Die Temperaturmessung nicht auf der Seite vornehmen, auf der der Patient gelegen hat - die
Messung auf der anderen Seite vornehmen.
5. Das Thermometer keinen Temperaturen unter -20 °C oder über 50 °C und keiner relativen
Luftfeuchtigkeit über 85 % (nicht kondensierend) aussetzen.
6. Keine Messungen mit dem Thermometer vornehmen, wenn die Umgebungstemperatur unter 10
°C oder über 40 °C liegt.
7. Die Batterie nicht mit nach unten gerichtetem positivem Batteriepol einsetzen. Das Thermometer
wird nicht funktionieren.
8. Dieses Thermometer ist nur für den Haushaltsgebrauch vorgesehen.
9. Die Verwendung dieses Thermometers ist kein Ersatz für eine ärztliche Beratung.
10. Die Messwerte von der rechten Kopfseite des Patienten können sich von den Messwerten
der linken Seite unterscheiden. Daher sollten alle Temperaturmessungen stets auf derselben
Kopfseite vorgenommen werden.
11. Das Thermometer ist nicht wasserdicht! Es darf NICHT in Flüssigkeiten eingetaucht werden!
