IMPORTANT SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR POOL USE
In the interest of safety, please read and understand prior to using pool. ALWAYS CARE-
FULLY OBSERVE the following safety instructions:
1) It is the responsibility of the pool owner to identify and obey guidelines and safety precautions
on outdoor pools before setting up the pool. It is important that you conform to municipality
rules as stated.
2) DO NOT permit children to use this product unless they are closely supervised at all times by an
adult who is capable of assisting a child in distress. DO NOT allow anyone to swim alone
without supervision.
3) NEVER permit diving or jumping into the pool. NEVER enter the pool from any decks or other
raised surfaces. The water level in your pool is not suitable for these activities. Failure to heed
these instructions can result in serious injury or even death.
4) DO NOT permit any “rough-housing” or other aggressive sports or activity in or around the
pool. Failure to observe this guideline can result in serious injury for those in and around the
pool area.
5) Children should be cautioned that pool water is not safe for drinking, and reminded fre-
quently to leave the pool and use the bathroom.
6) DO NOT allow eating or chewing gum in the pool, in order to reduce the chance of choking.
7) KEEP the water sanitary and healthful at all times.
8) ALWAYS have safety equipment on hand and in close proximity of the pool. A light, strong,
blunt end rescue pole and an approved ring buoy with a 20 foot long rope is recommended.
POST emergency phone numbers, pool caution signs, pool rules, etc.
9) ALWAYS have a well-lighted area for using the pool at night. It is important to make sure all
swimmers can see the pool bottom, safety signs, walkways, etc. Consult an electrical profes-
sional for proper lighting. The pool owner is responsible for lighting that must be compliant with
all local and national electrical codes and safety requirements.
