descrIptIon of the functIons

Button ZEIT [TIME]

With the timer feature you determine the duration

of the cooking process. The duration should not

exceed 99 minutes without interruption.

Press the ZEIT [TIME] button once.

Now select the time in minutes by pushing the

buttons plus (+) and minus (-). The maximum

time adjustable is of 99 minutes. If during

5 seconds no button is pushed, the appliance

exits the programming mode.

During the cooking process, the remaining time

as well as the selected power or temperature

setting is alternately indicated.

Button FUNKTION [MODE]

For the cooking process, you may select a power

setting between 400 Watt and 1,800 Watt or a

temperature setting between 60 °C and 240 °C.

A combination of both modes is not possible.

Push the button FUNKTION [MODE]. The

indicator light „Watt“ lights up.

Adjust the desired heating power by pushing

the buttons plus (+) or minus (-). The following

power settings are available:

800 W Gentle

The indicated values are reference values and

apply for stainless steel pots with a diameter of

approx. 20 cm. These values may slightly differ

according to the material and the size of the

cooking ware used.

Temperature °C

Push the button FUNKTION [MODE] twice. The

indicator light „°C“ lights up.

Adjust the desired temperature by pushing the

buttons plus (+) or minus (-).

The following temperature settings are available:

Level 1 60 °C Keeping

warm

Level 2 100 °C Gentle

boiling

Level 3 140 °C Gentle

browning

Level 4 180 °C Browning /

parboiling

Level 5 220 °C Griddling

Level 6 240 °C Griddling

the buttons plus (+) and minus (-). The

maximum time adjustable is of 99 minutes.

If during 5 seconds no button is pushed, the

appliance exits the programming mode.

11. During cooking, the display alternately

indicates the power or temperature setting

as well as the remaining time.

12. When achieving the adjusted time, the

appliance is switched off automatically.

13. You may switch off the appliance at any

time by pushing the button START/STOP.

14. The pre-adjusted times will not be saved

when the process is interrupted or the end

of the programme is reached.

15. The fan continues working during approx.

60 seconds after the programme has

finished.

16. If the programme is not controlled by

time adjustment, the appliance will be

automatically switched off after a maximum

of 2 hours.

17. After use please disconnect the plug from

the wall socket, in order to save energy.
