16. Dado que el volumen aumenta durante la congelación, no llene el recipiente
hasta el borde y deje un espacio de aprox. 5 a 7 cm.
17. Deje en marcha la máquina de helado hasta que este tenga la consistencia
deseada. En caso necesario, puede reducir o aumentar el tiempo de funcio-
namiento seleccionado. Según los ingredientes se tarda entre 20 y 40 minu-
tos. Compruebe de vez en cuando el proceso de congelación y desconecte el
aparato cuando el mezclador se detenga.
18. Si la masa de helado se pone demasiado consistente, modifique, en su
caso, la dirección de giro del mezclador para evitar daños en el motor.
19. Atención: no desconecte el aparato mientras esté preparando el helado. La
masa de helado se congelaría en el borde interior del recipiente refrigera-
dor. Si el motor se sobrecalienta durante la preparación, se desconectará
automáticamente. Si se da el caso, retire el enchufe y deje que el aparato
se enfríe. Si después desea preparar de nuevo helados, puede ser necesario
utilizar nuevos ingredientes.
20. Si desea utilizar una receta con alcohol, dosifique bien el alcohol y añá-
dalo solo al final del tiempo de congelación dado que el alcohol prolonga el
tiempo de congelación.
21. Apague el aparato pulsando el botón ON/OFF.
22. Retire la tapa del aparato girándola hacia arriba.
23. Extraiga el soporte del recipiente refrigerador con el mismo del aparato.
24. La mejor forma de retirar el helado es con una espátula de plástico o de
madera para no arañar el recipiente.
25. El helado debe tener una consistencia blanda. Sin embargo, si prefiere
helado más duro, coloque el recipiente adicionalmente en el congelador.
26. No guarde el helado en el recipiente durante más de 30 minutos en el con-
gelador. Si no desea consumir el helado de inmediato, páselo a un recipi-
ente hermético para congelación y colóquelo en el congelador. A causa de
la cristalización de las partículas de agua se pueden formar líneas. Esto se
debe a que la temperatura óptima para la conservación de helados es de
aproximadamente -10 °C, pero la temperatura de los congeladores es, por
lo general, más baja.
