this just fit the unit on. This system allows
you to clean your home efficiently without
having to purchase replacement dust bags.
The high performance filtering system,
which includes a HEPA H12 class anti
allergy filter, guarantees perfect cleaning.
In cases which require additional filtering
(very fine dust, homes with allergy
sufferers, etc.) the vacuum can be used
with the MEGAfilt SuperTEX bag fitted.
This type of bag is capable of retaining
98% of all particles. Its exceptional filtering
capacity reduces the task for the HEPA
filter and extends its useful life. Added to
which, it has been treated with an
antibacterial agent to stop micro-
organisms from breeding inside the bag.
How to use the Cycle-Tech unit
Open the lid on the general compartment
(fig. 1). Slot the unit into its housing (fig. 2).
For best results, select maximum power
when vacuuming with the Cycle-Tech unit.
Reduce the power setting when
vacuuming delicate surfaces.
How to use the MEGAfilt bag
Take the Cycle-Tech unit off (fig. 3) and
insert the bag into the slot on the filter hol-
der (fig. 4).
This appliance is very powerful. Use of
maximum power is only advisable when
vacuuming heavily soiled short pile
carpets or on hardwearing floor surfaces.
Half-power should be sufficient for daily
cleaning purposes.
ATTENTION: The bag full indicator only
works accurately in conjunction with the
dust bag.

MAINTAINING THE CYCLE-TECH
UNIT
Empting the container
The container should be emptied after
each use. To do this open the lid on the
general compartment (fig. 1) and remove
the container (fig. 3).
To open the base of the container pull the
holding clip gently and let the dirt fall
directly into the rubbish bin (fig. 13).
To re-close it, first slot the two rear clips
into position, swing the lid forward and
press it upward, it will click to indicate that
the holding clip is in place (fig. 14)
Place the container back into the general
compartment and lift the handle up. The lid
on the general compartment will not close
unless the container is fitted correctly.
Cleaning the filters
It is advisable to clean both the permanent
filter and the micro-filter, located on the
bottom of the Cycle-Tech unit, at least
once every six months. This will also be
necessary should the suction become
blocked.
To remove the filters press the two holding
clips on the filter holder in the direction of
the arrow (fig. 15). Hand wash both the
permanent filter and the micro-filter (fig.
16) in a mild detergent. IMPORTANT:
Leave them to dry for 24 hours before
refitting them.
