Biscuits au beurre
125 g de beurre mou
3/4 de tasse de sucre en poudre
1 cuillère à café de sucre vanillé
1 oeuf
2 tasses (300 g) de farine blanche
1 cuillère à café de levure en poudre
1. Préparer le robot et mettre le fouet batteur.
2. Sélectionner la vitesse 5. Rendre le beurre crémeux. Ajouter sucre, sucre
vanillé, oeuf et battre jusqu'à obtenir une masse légère et mousseuse.
3. Tamiser farine et levure.
4. Travailler sur la vitesse 2. Ajouter la farine/levure et battre brièvement. Ne
pas «sur-battre».
5. Former de petites boules en prenant 1 bonne cuillère à café de pâte. Les
mettre sur une plaque recouverte de papier de cuisson et les aplatir en
galette avec une fourchette farinée. Laisser suffisamment d'espace entre
les galettes parce que celles-ci gonflent.
6. Cuire dans le four, préchauffé à 190 °C, pendant 12-15 minutes environ ou
jusqu'à ce que les biscuits soient légèrement dorés.
7. Puis les retirer de la plaque et les laisser refroidir sur une grille.
Biscuits à l'orange
1 portion de pâte pour biscuits au beurre, mais sans sucre vanillé
(voir ci-dessus).
Ajouter 1 cuillère à soupe de zeste d'orange finement haché
à la place du sucre vanillé.
Recommandation
– Si vous travaillez de petites portions, éteignez de temps en temps le robot
et décollez la pâte de la paroi du récipient avec une spatule en plastique.
