Special installation
instructions
Attention: This heater is not
to be installed in mobile
homes which are intended
for approval in Germany!
In other countries the respec-
tive regulations must be
observed as well as the
restrictions for using the
appliance when moving.
1. When using the heater
- particularly while driving
- the roof flue must be open
to allow the flow of air. If
necessary, fit an AKV flue
extension (item No. 30010-
20800).
Mobile home manufacturers
are required to determine the
ideal combination of combu-
stion air intake extension and
roof flue extension to suit the
individual versions of their
vehicles by carrying out test
runs and consulting Truma.
Roof extensions as well as
luggage stowed in the vicini-
ty of the exhaust cowl im-
pede the heater in its operati-
on, especially whilst the ve-
hicle is moving. The flame
may flash back, causing
damage to the heater and
vehicle. In this case additio-
nal cowl extensions must be
used so that the top of the
cowl projects at least 10 cm
above any objects. Failure to
observe this instruction means
that no guarantee claim will
be entertained for resultant
damage to the heater and
vehicle.
2. If the vehicle is undersea-
led, the combustion air in-
take connection under the
vehicle must be covered to
prevent the resulting spray
mist from impairing the ope-
ration of the heating unit.
Remove the covering again
once the work is completed.

Manufacturer’s
terms of warranty
1. Case of warranty
The manufacturer grants a
warranty for malfunctions in
the appliance which are ba-
sed on material or production
faults. In addition to this, the
statutory warranty claims
against the seller remain valid.
The warranty claim is not
valid for damage to the
appliance
- as a result of not original
Truma parts being used in
the appliance and as a
result of unsuitable gas
pressure regulators being
used,
- as a result of non-complian-
ce with the installation in-
structions and instructions
for use,
- as a result of incorrect
handling,
- as a result of incorrect
packaging for trans
portation.
2. Scope of warranty
The warranty is valid for mal-
functions as stated under
item 1, which occur within
12 months after conclusion of
the purchase agreement bet-
ween the seller and the final
consumer. The manufacturer
shall rectify such malfunc-
tions by way of repair, howe-
ver, the manufacturer also re-
serves the right to supply a
replacement instead of repai-
ring said malfunctions. Claims
for indirect damage or conse-
quential damage shall be re-
jected. This does not affect
the rules of the product liabili-
ty law.
The manufacturer shall bear
the cost of employing the
Truma customer service for
the removal of a malfunction
under warranty - in particular
transportation costs, travel-
ling expenses, job and materi-
al costs, as long as the servi-
ce is carried out in Germany.
Customer service carried out
abroad is not covered by the
warranty.
Additional costs based on
complicated removal and in-
stallation conditions of the ap-
pliance (e.g. removal of furni-
ture or parts of the vehicle
body) do not come under
warranty.
3. Raising the case of
warranty
In Germany, the Truma Ser-
vice Center in Putzbrunn/
Munich must always be
contacted in event of a mal-
function; Abroad, respective
service partners are available
(refer to address list). Com-
plaints must be specified. In
addition, the correctly com-
pleted warranty certificate
must be presented or the Se-
rial number of the appliance
and the date of purchase spe-
cified.
If the appliance is sent back
to the factory, the manufactu-
rer shall check whether it is a
case of warranty. If there is
damage to heaters (heat ex-
changers), the gas pressure
regulator must also be sent
back to the factory.
When returning the appliance
to the factory, the delivery is -
in normal cases - to be by
freight. If it is a case of
warranty, the factory shall
bear the cost for the delivery
to the factory and the cost for
returning the appliance to the
customer. If the damage is
deemed not to be a warranty
case, the manufacturer shall
notify the customer and shall
specify repair costs which
shall not be borne by the
manufacturer; in this case,
the customer shall also bear
the shipping costs.
