This product is design to serve food at the best temperature for the best look, taste and mouth feel
of the food you are serving.
Hot Foods and Cold Foods Safety
Optimum Serving Temperature for Taste
Defer to safety when the situation indicates the time has come to chill down and store the
food in a standard refrigerator.
Bacteria grow best in warm and room temperature foods. Never let foods stand at room temperature, or in this product
for more than two hours. This includes preparation, storage and serving time.
Hot Foods: Casseroles, gravies, cooked fish and meats are safest if they are maintained ABOVE 70°C , or
above. Therefore it is to be used for 2-hours of less.
Cold Foods: Cream pies, puddings, potato/noodle/seafood salads and many other dishes made with eggs,
mayonnaise, milk products cooked/smoked/raw fish, meat and poultry need to be kept cold when storing. This
keeps dangerous bacteria from growing. Do NOT let these foods stand in this serving tray, or at room
temperature for more than two hours, including preparation, storage and serving time.
Hot and cold holding systems present special problems in food handling. Most food borne illnesses are caused
by using improper holding temperatures for hazardous foods or by preparing foods too long before they are
eaten.
Usage and Food Safety Warnings:
Do NOT to keep food longer than 2 hours.
This product is designed for indoor, home use, to serve chilled and
heated foods at a desired steady, temperatures adjustable between
3°C to 75°C measured at surface of food tray. It is NOT a cooking
or food preparation appliance. Only serve fully cooked or chilled foods
on this product.
Do NOT add new, hot food to a cool food, or cool food to a hot food
on the serving table. And only put out what would be consumed within
in two hours.
This product is NOT intended to safely store food, beverages, medical
materials, drugs or other perishables longer than you would at room
temperature.
