Starten van de motor met een
hulpaccu en startkabels
Start de motor nooit door een acculader
aan te sluiten.
Gebruik nooit een startbooster van 24 V
of hoger.
Controleer eerst of de nominale
spanning van de hulpaccu 12 V
bedraagt en of de capaciteit van de
hulpaccu minimaal gelijk is aan die van
de ontladen accu.
De twee auto's mogen elkaar niet raken.
Schakel alle stroomverbruikers
(autoradio, ruitenwissers, verlichting
enz.) van beide auto's uit.
Zorg ervoor dat de startkabels zich
niet in de buurt van bewegende delen
van de motor (ventilateur, riem enz.)
bevinden.
Koppel de pluspool (+) van de accu niet
los terwijl de motor draait.
F Beweeg, indien uw auto hiermee is uitgerust,
het kunststof kapje van de pluspool (+)
omhoog.
F Sluit de rode kabel aan op de pluspool (+) van
de ontladen accu A (bij het gebogen metalen
gedeelte) en vervolgens op de pluspool (+)
van de hulpaccu B of de startbooster.
F Sluit de groene of zwarte kabel aan op
de minpool (-) van de hulpaccu B of de
startbooster (of op het massapunt van de auto
met de hulpaccu).
F Sluit het andere uiteinde van de groene of
zwarte kabel aan op het massapunt C van de
auto met de lege accu.
F Start de motor van de auto met de
hulpaccu en laat deze gedurende enkele
minuten draaien.
F Stel de startmotor in werking van de auto
met de lege accu en laat de motor draaien.
Als de motor niet direct start, zet dan het
contact af en wacht even alvorens een nieuwe
poging te doen.
Als de accu van uw auto ontladen is, kan
de motor worden gestart met een hulpaccu
(externe accu of een accu van een andere
auto) en startkabels of een startbooster.
Een aantal functies, waaronder
het Stop & Start-systeem, is niet
beschikbaar als de laadtoestand van de
accu onvoldoende is.
F Wacht tot de motor stationair draait en
neem dan de kabels in omgekeerde
volgorde los.
F Breng, indien uw auto hiermee is uitgerust,
het kunststof kapje aan op de pluspool (+).
F Laat de motor minimaal 30 minuten
draaien, rijdend of stilstaand, om het
laadniveau van de accu op een correct peil
te krijgen.
