Anschließen an optionale Zusatzgeräte
Anschließen an einen Verstärker mit 2-Kanal-
Analog-Stereo oder Dolby Surround
Raumklang
Verbinden Sie den linken und rechten DVD/VCR AUDIO
OUT oder AUDIO OUT (DVD EXCLUSIVE OUT =
NUR DVD-AUSGANG) Anschlüsse dieses Gerätes mit
den linken und rechten Audio-Eingangsbuchsen Ihres
Verstärkers, Empfängers oder Stereosystem mit dem
Audiokabel.
Anschließen an einen Verstärker mit 2-Kanal-
Digital-Stereo (PCM) oder an einen Audio/Video-
Receiver mit Mehrkanal-Decoder (Dolby Digital™,
MPEG 2 oder DTS).

Verbinden Sie eine der DIGITAL AUDIO OUT
Anschlüsse (COAXIAL oder OPTICAL ) mit der
entsprechenden Eingangsbuchse Ihres Verstärkers.
Benutzen ein optionales digitales (optisches oder
koaxiales) Audiokabel.

Anschließend müssen Sie den digitalen Ausgang
des DVD-Spielers aktivieren. (Siehe “Digital Audio
Output” auf Seite 20).
Digitaler Mehrkanalton
Über eine digitalen Mehrkanalverbindung lässt sich die
beste Tonqualität erzielen. Dazu benötigen Sie einen
mehrkanalfähigen Audio/Video-Receiver, der eines oder
mehrere der Audioformate unterstützt, die auch von
Ihrem DVD-Spieler unterstützt werden (MPEG 2, Dolby
Digital und DTS). Überprüfen Sie dazu die
Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Receivers und die Logos auf
der Vorderseite des betreffenden Geräts.
Warnung:
Gemäß DTS-Lizenzvereinbarung wird der Digitalausgang
automatisch auf den Modus DTS Digital Out eingestellt,
sobald DTS als Audioformat ausgewählt wird.
Anmerkungen
Wenn das Audioformat des Digitalausgangs nicht den
Leistungsmerkmalen Ihres Receivers entspricht, erzeugt
der Receiver entweder ein lautes, verzerrtes Geräusch
oder bleibt stumm.
Digitaler Sechskanal-Raumklang durch einen
Digitalanschluß steht nur dann zur Verfügung, wenn
Ihr Empfänger mit einem digitalen Vielkanaldekoder
ausgerüstet ist.
Um das Audioformat einer eingelegten DVD über das
Bildschirmmenü abzufragen, drücken Sie auf AUDIO.
