10. Position the positive (plus) power cable (1) in front of the positive (plus) slot
(2) of the connector housing (3) and the negative (minus) power cable (4) in
front of the negative (minus) slot (5) of the connector housing.
11. Check for correct polarity again and snap the power cables into the corre-
sponding slots by sliding them in.
12. Check the tight t of the power cables in the connector housing.
Removing the motor
You can remove the motor for maintenance without removing the mounting
ange. Please note that you should always check the sealing rings before reas-
sembly and replace them if they are damaged.

Danger of injury or death from rotating propeller. This can result in sever
injuries or death.
Switch off the system at the battery main switch and secure it against
being switched on again by pulling off the switch handle to prevent the
propeller from starting.

Danger of injury or death from electric shock. This can result in sever injuries
or death.
Make sure that the overall system is de-energised during installation.
Batteries and external power sources must be disconnected from the
onboard power supply.
NOTE! Do not lift or hold the motor by the cables, only by the housing.

1. Make sure that the system is switched off at the battery main switch and
secured against re-activation.
2. Disconnect the plug connection of the power cables.
3. Gently push the snap-in pin (1) to the side until the power cable (2) can be
released from the plug housing (3).
4. Repeat the procedure for the 2nd power cable.
5. Loosen all cables from their fastenings in order to be able to pass them
through the ange pipe later.
