5. Safety Information
The warranty/guarantee will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-
compliance with these operating instructions. We do not assume liability for
any consequential damage.
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the
warranty/guarantee is voided.
a) General Information
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modication of the product is prohibited for
safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not disassemble the product (except for the
procedures described in these operating instructions for insertion/replacing the
batteries).
• Maintenance, adjustments and repair work may only be carried out by a special-ist/
specialised workshop. The device contains no parts that require servicing or adjusting
by you.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. It contains small parts, glass
(display) and batteries. The laser also poses additional danger (e.g. eye damage).
Therefore, keep the product so that it cannot be reached by children.
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
vibration, heavy mechanical strain or moisture. Handle the product with care; impacts,
shock or fall even from low heights will damage it.
• The product must not be used in a potentially explosive environment.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for
children.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the product
must be supervised by responsible trained personnel.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are
to be observed.
