Aclaración de los símbolos que aparecen en el producto
Lea el manual de uso antes de utilizar la máquina.
Conforme a los estándares europeos CE aplicables en materia de seguridad.
Este símbolo en combinación con las palabras ¡Advertencia! y ¡Peligro! advierte de una operación o condición que puede
ocasionar lesiones graves tanto al usuario como a las personas que se encuentren próximas.
El motor sigue girando (inercia) después de apagar la herramienta. La cuchilla en rotación puede provocar lesiones graves.
¡Advertencia! Superficie caliente.
Utilice guantes de protección.
Lleve gafas de seguridad para proteger sus ojos.
Lleve protección para los oídos.
Llene mascarilla para protegerse del polvo.
Utilice botas de seguridad para evitar descargas eléctricas.
Las personas ajenas se mantendrán alejadas. No se pondrá en funcionamiento si hay personas ajenas, especialmente niños o
animales, en las inmediaciones.
No utilice el soplador con el tubo desmontado.
Cubeta del primer (bomba).
Nivel de potencia acústica conforme a la directiva 2000/14/CE.
Qué se ha de tener en cuenta
Lea el manual de instrucciones u de todos los suplementos (si se incluyen) detenidamente antes de utilizar la herramienta.
• UTILICE ROPADE TRABAJO RESISTENTE YQUE NO QUEDE SUELTAque garantice un mínimo de protección, como pueden ser
pantalones largos, calzado de seguridad, guantes de protección, sombrero rígido, mascarilla de protección, gafas de seguridad para
proteger los ojos y tapones para los oídos de buena calidad o cualquier otro tipo de protección para los oídos.
• SE REPOSTARÁ EN UN LUGAR SEGURO. Abra el tapón del depósito de combustible lentamente para liberar con precaución la
presión que pueda haberse generado en el interior. Limpie siempre el combustible o el aceite vertido sobre la herramienta antes de
ponerla en funcionamiento. Para evitar un posible incendio aléjese al menos 3 metros del lugar de donde se ha repostado para poner el
motor en marcha.
• APAGUE LAHERRAMIENTAantes de depositarla en el suelo, y también antes de montar y desmontar accesorios.
• APRIETE TODOS LOS TORNILLOS YLAS SUJECIONES CORRECTAMENTE y mantenga la herramienta en buenas condiciones. La
herramienta no se pondrá en marcha bajo ningún concepto, si sus componentes no están montados y ajustados correctamente y en su
totalidad.
• LOS MANGOS HAN DE ESTAR SECOS, limpios y sin restos de la mezcla de combustible.
• Almacene la máquina fuera del alcance de materiales inflamables, como pueden ser calentadores de agua de gas, secadoras, hornos
de gasóleo, estufas portátiles, etc.
• NO DEJE que se acumule suciedad en el motor.
• LAHERRAMIENTASÓLO LAUTILIZARÁN personas adultas que hayan leído y entendido el manual de uso.
• LAS PERSONAS QUE PADEZCAN PROBLEMAS RESPIRATORIOS y las que utilicen el soplador en zonas polvorientas deben llevar
siempre una mascarilla para proteger las vías respiratorias. Las mascarillas de papel contra el polvo pueden adquirirse en ferreterías o
tiendas de bricolaje.

Trouble shooting the engine
Air filter

CAUTION! NEVER operate the blower without the air filter or dust and dirt will be sucked into the engine and damage it. The air
filter must be kept clean. If it becomes damaged, install a new filter.
To clean the air filter:
• Remove 2 screws (A) holding the air filter cover in place, remove cover (B) and lift filter (C) from cover.
• Wash the filter in soap and water. DO NOT USE PETROL!
• Air dry filter.
• Reinstall the air filter and air filter cover.
Note: Replace the filter if frayed, torn, damaged or unable to be cleaned.
Carburettor adjustment
The carburettor was pre-set at the factory for optimum performance. If further adjustments are necessary, please take your unit to the nearest
Authorised Service Centre.

• Spark plug gap = 025 in. (.635mm).
• Torque to 105 to 130 inch pounds (12 to 15 N•m). Connect spark plug boot.
Vacuum bag cleaning
Adirty bag will obstruct the airflow, thereby reducing vacuum efficiency.
To clean bag:
• Detach vacuum bag from unit.
• Open zipper and remove contents.
• Turn the bag INSIDE OUT and shake vigorously. This procedure should be performed on a regular basis.
• Turn the bag RIGHT SIDE OUT, close zipper and attach to unit.
Note: If the vacuum bag is unusually dirty, it should be washed by hand in warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Let dry before using.

WARNING! Failure to follow these steps may cause varnish to form in the carburettor and difficulty in starting or permanent
damage following storage.
Problem
• Unit will not start or starts but will not run.
• Unit starts, but the engine has low power.
• Engine hesitates. No power under load.
• Runs erratically.
• Smokes excessively.
Probable cause
• Incorrect starting procedures.
• Incorrect carburettor mixture adjustment
setting.
• Soiled spark plug.
• Fuel filter plugged.
• Incorrect lever position on choke.
• Dirty air filter.
• Incorrect carburettor mixture adjustment

• Incorrect fuel mixture.
Corrective action
• Follow instructions in the User Manual.
• Have carburettor adjusted by an

• Replace fuel filter.
• Move to RUN position.
• Remove, clean and reinstall filter.
