10.5 Using Outbox
The Outbox on your phone stores the last 20 out-
going short messages, fax and e-mail messages
(both the successfully sent ones and the failed
ones). Moreover, if you have an incoming call
while creating a message, the message will be
automatically stored in the Outbox so that you
can recall the message after answering the call. If
necessary, you can review or resend any messa-
ges stored in the Outbox.
To view a message in the Outbox:
1. Press the SMS key to display the SMS menu
items.
Or, press the MENU soft key to display the Main
menu items, then press the key to choose
Favorite, then press SELECT soft key and select
5:SMS by pressing the SELECT soft key.
2. Press repeatedly the or key to choose
3:Outbox, then press the SELECT soft key. The
display shows the list of the outgoing messa-
ges. For e-mail messages, the first part of the
e-mail address is displayed instead of the
phone number.
3. Select a message that you want to read using
the or key, and press the SELECT soft
key. The display shows the addressee’s phone
number (not for e-mails), the message text, and
the time in which you sent the message.
4. While you read the fax or e-mail, you can press
the OPTION soft key to view the fax header or
email address.
5. To access the options, press the OPTION soft key
again. The following options are available:
• Delete – deletes the selected message
• Send Same Msg – allows you to send the
message as it is.
• Edit Msg - allows you to edit the message
and then send it.
Moreover, only for SMS messages
, the fol-
lowing additional options appear:
• Make a Call – allows you to call the sender
back.
• Save Number - saves the sender’s phone
number in your phonebook.
6. Press the key to exit.
