System functions with tiptel 3011/3022 office/system
Please note:
After deleting messages, it might be necessary to activate your voicebox anew (function remote
activation of the answering mode,
button, key ) or to return to your normal OGM (function
remote modification of OGMs key key up to , according to the requested OGM).
Free macro key
If the administrator of your telephone system has defined several keys as "free macro key", the
assignment can be determined according to your individual requirements as described on
page 37 (chapter macro programming). Keys that have been programmed by the admininstrator
cannot be modified. Should you, by mistake, try to change the assigment of these keys, the
errror message "only functional keys allowed!" will be displayed.
Please note:
In contrast to the system functions mentioned above, your individual assignment is only saved
directly in the telephone and has to be entered anew in case of an exchange of the device. It is
recommended to take note of your individual assignment before.
System Phonebook
(This function is only available with firmware V.4.0.xx and higher of the system software.)
With the tiptel 83 system, you can select an entry from the phonebook of your tiptel 3011/3022
office/system and then connect to this party. The system phonebook is set up using the tele-
phone system's configuration software and is available to all system users.
Search for Entry
There are two different methods to search for an entry: scrolling through the phonebook, or ente-
ring the name directly via the numbers on the phone's keypad. To find out which letters are
assigned to which numbers on the keypad, please see the section "Entering Characters" in the
unit "Telephone Directory".
