VIP function

VIP and RESTRICTION function

In your tiptel 215 Plus, up to 24 phone numbers can be marked as VIP or a RESTRICTION may be assigned to them. If the

VIP-function has been activated (refer to chapter “operation”, item “setting options”) and a correspondingly marked incom-

ing phone number is recognised, an acoustic signal is generated at your tiptel 215 Plus. Furthermore, a VIP symbol is

shown in the display when the message is played back and a call list for VIP numbers can be selected.

Callers whose phone number has been marked with a RESTRICTION, are greeted either by OGM 1 or 2 (that means not by

the regularly set OGM). This structure allows wanted callers to leave a message after OGM 1, whereas unwanted callers are

diverted via the restriction function to OGM 2 and are not able to leave a message. The activation of the restriction function

as well as the selection of OGMs are realised in the basic settings (refer to chapter “operation”, “setting options”)..
