4.3 Satellite Selection
This receiver is already adjusted for reception of Astra Satellites with the correct settings as it is
most common. Per default it is setup for DiSEqC port 1 for Astra 19.2 and DiSEqC port 2 for
Astra 23.5.
In case you are not connected to any switch or using a Mono block you can keep currently
settings.
To check or change the settings for the satellite on port 1 press OK to enter the submenu.
In case port 1 is already correctly adjusted and you have proper signal quality and strength
banners you can adjust the port 2 if you have a satellite connected there. Use
p/q to select it
and proceed like below chapter describes. This you can do for up to 4 Satellite positions.
4.3.1 Edit LNB
In this submenu you can adjust following parameters:
Satellite: Press OK to open the list of available satellites and chose the desired one
with
p/q or PG+/-.
LNB Type: Choose the desired LNB Type via the
t/u buttons if you are not using a
“Universal” LNB.
LNB Low Freq.: This shows the value for the appropriate LNB Type used and you can only
adjust for “Normal” LNB.
LNB High Freq.: This shows the value for the appropriate LNB Type used and you can only
adjust for “Normal” LNB.
22 KHz Tone: This setting for AUTO should not be changed, only in case it is necessary
for your LNB type.
LNB Power: Here you can change the LNB power via
t/u in case it is necessary.
Transponder: Press OK to open the list of available transponders for the chosen
satellite, in order to check your reception or align the antenna.
After all settings are adjusted following to your system requirements, choose Save with
p/q or
Cancel to discard changes and press OK. The receiver will return to the selection screen and
you can continue by pressing the BLUE Next button.
4.4 Scan Selection
In this menu you can use p/q to highlight the desired option and press OK to choose the
desired item from the list.
In Scan Mode you can choose Quick Scan which scan only transponders of selected country
and Full Scan to scan all transponders from selected satellite(s).
In NIT Search you can select ON if you want to scan for new appeared channels /
transponders or OFF if you don’t like to.
After everything is setup following to your preference, choose the BLUE Next button.
The receiver will perform the chosen scan process. Afterwards all found channels will be stored
and the receiver will switch to the first found channel respectively the first.

To turn your receiver ON or to Standby, use the q button on the remote control or the button
on the left side of the front panel.
Choose the desired channel with the
p/q buttons or the P+/P- buttons. Alternatively, you can
digit the channel number with the 0~9 buttons on the remote control or press OK in viewing
mode to display the channel list.
