Adjustment options
Seat width
Loosen the hip guide screws (EASyS) / arm support screws (EASyS Modular) from the seat top surface with an Allen key (provided
with the user manual, 3mm metric hexagon wrench) and move the lateral elements accordingly. (Fig. 10) If the seat depth is adjusted
to the minimal position, the maximal adjustable seat width depends on the existing space between the lateral back rest upholsteries.
Seat depth
Loosen all Allen screws (same as the hip guide setting) on the seat surface, stand facing the seat towards you and pull out the seat
plate. (Fig. 11)
Tip: For easy adjustment of the seat depth grip the frontal edge of the seat with one hand and press against the bottom part of
the backrest (concentric) with the other hand.
The hip guides (EASyS) are adjustable in depth, as well. Loosen both screws, set the desired depth, and retighten the screws. (Fig. 12)
Arm support (EASyS Modular)
The arm supports are adjustable both in height and depth. Loosen both wing nuts, set the desired height and depth, and retighten
the nuts. (Fig. 13)
Back height
Remove the lateral backrest upholstery slightly from the seat. Loosen both knurled screws at the top of the lateral tubes. (Fig. 14) The
back plate can be adjusted without fixed increments. The maximum height is achieved when the locking pin clicks in audibly. Velcro
fasten the lateral backrest upholstery.
To reduce the height press down the locking pin underneath the right knurled screw and push the back plate down to the desired
height. (Fig. 15)
Back height step 2 (EASyS only)
In order to achieve the maximum back height loosen both knurled screws at the top crossbar and pull up the back plate. (Fig. 16)
Tip: The extended body guides offer additional protection to children who are primarily transported in a lying position.
Headrest (EASyS Modular only)
Insert the tube of the headrest into the receiver at the top of the headrest bracket and tighten the wing screw. (Fig. 17)
The headrest can be adjusted without fixed increments by loosening the knurled screws on the rear of the backrest. (Fig. 18) To adjust
the angle of the headrest, loosen the wing screws at the headrest bracket. (Fig. 19) In addition, the headrest can be adjusted in depth
by loosening the wing screw on top of the headrest bracket. (Fig. 20) The angle of the headrest surface is adjustable both vertically
and horizontally by loosening the screws of the ball joint. (Fig. 21) Make sure to retighten all screws when adjustments are completed.
Back angle adjustment
Loosen the clamping lever at the backrest and pull out the safety locking pin below the lever. (Fig. 22) Now the backrest can be
adjusted in the desired position. The seat unit automatically slides forwards on its rails, shifting its center of gravity to maintain stability
in all seat positions. (Fig. 23) Retighten the clamping lever once the position is selected.
To lock back recline based on preset angles: Loosen the clamping lever at the backrest and pull out the safety locking pin below
the lever. Now the backrest can be adjusted in the desired position. The seat unit automatically slides forwards on its rails, shifting
its center of gravity to maintain stability in all seat positions. (Fig. 23) Engage locking pin and ensure it slides into a factory supplied
locking hole. Retighten the clamping lever once the position is selected.
Hint: The seat units have a different number of holes for the safety locking pin at the backrest.
EASyS 1: 2 holes; EASyS 2: 4 holes; EASyS Modular 1: 1 hole; EASyS Modular 2: 2 holes
During transport of the rehab stroller in a vehicle, the safety locking pin has always be locked in the bottom hole (90° back angle)
The other holes can be used to adjust further commonly used back angles.
Lower leg length
Loosen the threaded pins to the side of the foot rest with the Allen key (width across flats 3mm). (Fig. 24) The foot rest can be adjusted
without fixed increments. Retighten the threaded pins when adjustments are completed.
Foot angle
Loosen the 4 screws on the right and left on the bottom of the foot rest, adjust the desired angle, and retighten the screws. (Fig. 25)
A 10mm metric box wrench or spanner is needed.
Knee angle
Set the knee angle by loosening the side wing nuts on both sides. (Fig. 26)
Tip: The foot rest can be flipped up to facilitate transfers
