1. GENERAL

We wish you very much heating pleasure with the purchase of the BUILT-IN GAS FIRE “ESFERA”.

Carefully read these instructions before installing the built-in gas fire and putting it into operation. Keep

these instructions well. In case of failure mention type and serial number.

Delivery

At delivery you should immediately check the mantelpiece for any transport damage. If this is found,

inform your supplier as accurately as possible right away. Before placing the built-in mantelpiece and the

HI-FIRE basic unit, we advise you to carefully read the associating mounting/operating and installation

instructions to avoid problems during mounting.

Burn for the first time.

Your heater has been painted with a heat-resistant paint that can resist high temperatures. When burning for

the first time, let the appliance burn at the maximum position. Ventilate the room in which the appliance is.

Maintenance.

The mantelpiece can be wiped with a soft, moist cloth. If anything is spilled on the heater, the appliance should

be turned off immediately. After the appliance has cooled down, the stains can be removed with suds

of soft soap. Never use an abrasive! Any deposit on the glass can be removed with the help of a so-called

glass cleaner.

2. MOUNT BUILT-IN MANTELPIECE “ESFERA”

Housing gas-supply pipe (see page 7 fig. 3)

As the HI-FIRE is a basic unit, the supply connecting point may need to be moved. This also applies to the

built-in version ESFERA you have selected. As a standard the HI-FIRE basic unit has a connection on the

back, but if the appliance is built in, this will no longer be accessible. Therefore the connection is to be

moved to the side. Carefully lay the HI-FIRE basic unit on the back and take the delivered supply pipe.

Screw the delivered cover (B) onto the end of the 3/8“ pipe (pack well) and screw the pipe at the

back of the block. Unscrew the plug (A) on the side (inlet side, arrow into the direction of the block) and

then mount the delivered square coupling (C) (pack thoroughly). Check for leakage.
