Operating the engine
Read the instruction manual for the engine, before use
Before using the machine, remove all foreign objects from the vicinity. Stones, glass, branches and
similar items can damage the machine. Also check that all bolts are tightened.
Control oil level before starting the engine.
Start the engine:
1. Open the fuel tap.
2. On a cold engine open the choker.
Note: On a hot engine choke is not required.
3. Turn the throttle to “fast” position.
4. Pull the recoil starter gently until you feel resistance in the rope. Then pull quickly and
energetic. Do not at any time let go of the recoil starter but glide it gently back and pull
again.
5. Regulate the choker until the engine is running smoothly.
Stop the engine:
1. Hit the engine button
2. Set the throttle to slow position.
3. Turn the fuel tap to the”off” position.
Gear and engaging the wheel drive
• The machine has 4 speed forward transmission and 1 reverse.
• Forward speeds range from 1.8 km/h in first gear to 5.4 km/h in fourth gear.
• Use the lower gears for mowing in thick, vegetation and the higher gears for light
vegetation.
Note: When shifting gears the drive lever must be released
4. Shift the rod to the desired gear.
5. Activate the drive lever (right side).
6. Release the drive lever in order to stop or change gear.

1. Release the lock-hook (if it is hard please lift the handle a little upwards).
2. Activate handle (left side).
ALWAYS DISENGAGE THE BLADE, BEFORE SHIFTING INTO REVERSE!

1. Move the gear rod to the N (Neutral) position.
2. Move the throttle control to the idle position.
3. Turn the switch to off position.
If the machine runs into dense vegetation and the blade becomes tangled. Turn off the engine and
disconnect the spark plug wire, before attempting to untangle the machine.
