Basic functions
Activating and deactivating
With the mains switch 23 “Power” on the back of the
device you can turn your DVD receiver on and off.
Once you have turned it on, the device is in standby
mode.
With the button 11 “Power” or 60 , you can switch
your DVD receiver to operational and/or standby
mode. The power LED 12 is blue when the device is
turned on until the display 5 is operational.
Selecting a source
Once you have turned on the device, the last source
selected is activated.
With the button 4 “Source” and/or 53 “Source +/–”,
you can switch sources in this order:
DISC (DVD/CD and USB), FM AUTO (radio VHF
stereo), FM MONO, AM (radio MW), Aux 1, Aux 2,
Aux 3, HDMI 1, HDMI 2.
Or you can switch the source with the direct select
buttons:
43Aux” – Aux 1, Aux 2, Aux 3
44Tuner” – FM AUTO, FM MONO, AM
49HDMI” – HDMI 1, HDMI 2
50DVD” – DISC and/or USB
The selected source is shown on the display 5.
Adjusting the volume
With the menu function “Power-on Vol”, you can set the
volume when turning on the device (see page 15).
Increasing the volume: Press the button 8 “Volume +
and/or button 37 “Vol +.
Reducing the volume: Press the button 8 “Volume
and/or button 37 “Vol –”.
The selected volume is shown on the display 5 and on the
screen from 0 (mute) to 50 (loud).
Mute
With the button 36
, you can turn off the sound.
The message “MUTE ON” will appear on the display
5.
Turning the sound back on: Press the button 36
again or change the volume.
Night mode
In night mode, the DVD receiver reduces the volume,
particularly the volume of the subwoofer. By pushing the
button 47 “Night” you can activate or deactivate night
mode. The message “Night on” and/or “Night off” will
briefl y appear on the display 5 and the television.
