USING THE ROASTING SPIT (17) AND THE SPIT HANDLE (16)
Insert the roasting spit (17) into the food. Clamp the food by placing
forks (18) at each end and fastening them with the two wing-nuts (19).
Insert the roasting spit into the oven first positioning tip (22) inside
the proper driving hole, and then position the other end (21) onto its
support.
Insert tray (14) in the lowest of the
shelves (9).
Check that the food does not touch
the oven sides and that it can rotate
with no interferences.
Proceed as described afterwards in
the “STARTING UP” paragraph,
remembering that the roasting spit
begins to work when the timer is
enabled. At the end of cooking, when
the timer reaches the “0” position,
the spit roaster stops.
NOTE: If the cooking has completed
before the timer has stopped, stop
the cooking by setting timer (5) to
“0” and the selector dial (4) to
“OFF”.
To remove the roasting spit, turn off
the oven being careful not to touch
the sides, and use the proper spit
handle (16) in the following way:
• Position the hooks of the spit handle
to line up with guides (20) on the
roasting spit (17).
• Raise the roasting spit left side first,
thus freeing it from support (21), and
then remove the right side from the
roasting spit driving hole (22).
