While frying, boiling hot steam is released from the openings on the top:
be careful as it can burn.
Do not let children use this appliance and keep at a safe distance during
use.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.
Do not overcook food as it could catch fire.
Do not turn the appliance on without oil inside.
Always remove the lid (7) using the appropriate handles (12).
Important!
Check that the oil level is between the MIN and MAX marks shown inside the
cooking pot (10) each time before use.
Turn the appliance on only after oil has been added.
FRYING TIME GUIDELINES
The frying times shown in the chart are only a guide; in fact they may vary
depending on the quantity, quality, and size of the food.
NOTE
Generally, frozen foods take longer to cook than fresh foods
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the cord from the power outlet and allow the oil in the
appliance to cool down completely before cleaning or servicing the
appliance.
Cleaning the basket and handle
Wash the basket and its handle with water and dishwashing soap. Thoroughly
rinse and dry. Do not wash in a dishwasher.
Cleaning the cooking pot and lid
Remove the lid.
Empty the oil from the cooking pot using the special drain (9) found on the top
edge of the cooking pot (10).
Attention:
Oil should be dispose of only at authorized collection centres. For
information contact your local waste disposal company. Do not pour oil
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
PRIMERA UTILIZACIÓN
Antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez, lavar todas las partes que están
en contacto con los alimentos: el cestillo (14), la empuñadura (16), la cubeta
de cocción (10) y la tapa (7). Hacer referencia al párrafo “LIMPIEZA”.
GRUPO CESTILLO EMPUÑADURA
Antes de utilizar el aparato es fundamental montar correctamente la
empuñadura (16) del cestillo (14).
Proceder del siguiente modo:
Apretar con las manos la empuñadura hasta que
la parte terminal plegada de la misma entre en los
agujeros situados en el cestillo. (fig.5)
Colocar la barra metálica de la empuñadura en el
interior del retén situado en el cestillo
asegurándose de que la empuñadura esté bien
firme en el cestillo (fig.6).
¡Atención!
Antes de utilizar el aparato asegurarse siempre
de que la empuñadura y el cestillo estén
montados correctamente
MODO DE USO
Posicionar el aparato sobre un plano horizontal, estable y resistente al calor,
lejos de sustancias o materiales inflamables (por ej. cortinas, manteles…) y
de fuentes de calor (por ej. hornillos, estufas..).
Desenrollar completamente el cable de alimentación, con atención a no
apoyarlo contra el aparato ya que este se calienta durante el uso.
• Poner el aceite en la cubeta de cocción (8a) de modo que el nivel esté
incluido entre las indicaciones MIN y MAX (8) presentes en la cubeta de
cocción. Utilizar solo aceite adecuado para freír (controlar las indicaciones
presentes en la caja).
Posicionar la tapa (7) encima de la cubeta de cocción y conectar el enchufe
en la toma de corriente
de modo que resulte fácilmente accesible por
motivos de seguridad. El testigo luminoso (2) se enciende.
Seleccionar con el pomo (3) la temperatura adecuada al alimento por freír.
Cuando el testigo luminoso del termostato (4) se apaga, el aparato está listo
para el uso.
• Disponer los alimentos en el cestillo (14), respetando la cantidad máxima
indicada en el interior del mismo (15), quitar lentamente la tapa (7) poniendo
atención al vapor hirviente que sale e introducir el cestillo (14) en la cubeta
de cocción (10) utilizando la empuñadura (16) al efecto.
Poner la tapa (7) poniendo atención a que la parte
perfilada de la misma se halle encima de la
empuñadura de la puerta (fig.7) y dejar cocer por
un tiempo adecuado al tipo de alimento. (ver tabla
“TIEMPOS DE COCCIÓN”).
Averiguar de tanto en tanto el grado de
cocción/dorado del alimento a través del visor
(13) hasta alcanzar el resultado deseado.
Al final de la cocción, llevar el pomo del
termostato (3) en posición OFF, desconectar el enchufe de la toma de
corriente, abrir la tapa (7) con prudencia, levantar el cestillo (14) utilizando la
empuñadura (16) al efecto y sacudirlo delicadamente encima de la cubeta de
cocción para eliminar los excesos de aceite. Poner los alimentos en un plato
en el que habréis extendido una hoja de papel absorbente para alimentos.
Dejar el aparato sin tapa para hacer enfriar el aceite.
