INITIAL START-UP
• Set the mains voltage of your
home using the voltage selector
(11) as shown in fig. D.
• Place the iron in a vertical
position, completely unwind the
power cord (9) and connect the
plug to the power outlet.
• With the temperature control dial
(5) select the temperature most
suitable to the type of fabric to iron (see table 1 in fig. B).
• The thermostat light (8) will turn on. It will then turn off when the selected
temperature is reached. The iron is now ready to use.
Important:
• Never leave the iron unattended when it is connected to the power point.
• The iron must be used and left in the rest position (e.g. during ironing pauses)
on a stable surface.
• Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, if there are signs of damage or if
water leaks from the soleplate.
• The travel iron was not designed to be used frequently but only for brief
periods.
Recommendations:
• Before starting to iron, run the iron over a small hidden area of your garment to make
sure the temperature selected is suitable to the type of fabric.
• During ironing, press the steam button (4) in pulses to obtain a jet of steam.
Note:
• Do not press the button (4) too many times in succession to prevent non-vaporised
drops of water from leaking.
• Only discharge the steam if the knob (5) was positioned in correspondence of the
••• MAX symbols.
• Drops of water may be discharged together with the steam on first use. This is
normal. Before ironing your linen, carry out tests on old pieces of fabric.
• Mineral particles may be discharged at each use of the steam function, therefore do
not discharge the first jets of steam directly onto the items to iron.

LLENADO DEL DEPÓSITO
• Realicen siempre esta operación con el enchufe desconectado de la toma de
corriente.
• Levanten el mango (1) como en la figura C.
• Pongan la plancha en posición oblicua.
• Abran la tapa (3) y llenar el depósito sin superar el nivel MÁX. (12) indicado. No
pongan nunca perfumes en el depósito.
• Cierren la tapa (3).
Consejos:
Si el agua de su zona es especialmente calcárea utilicen agua destilada.
